3G Football Pitch – Oxfordshire

Prestige Civils and Sports won the contract to build a 3G (3rd Generation) football and multi-use sports pitch for the MOD in Oxfordshire. Prestige has worked for the MOD on several contracts in the past and has up-to-date security clearance.

A Domo 60mm carpet was chosen for the artificial grass pitch and was laid over a dynamic base. Double wire, rebound mesh panel fencing was installed for optimum strength and ball rebound. Kickboards were added for recreational hockey use.
